Not sure what country yuo are from but if you are eligible for a 60 day visa just head off to your Indonesian Consulate and apply for one. That is what I do here in Sydney. Last year I got my 60 day visa and then just before th e60 days was finished I flew from Padang West Sumatra to Singapore and got anothe rone through an agent ( Hana Express) there.
When that was almost finsihed I flew from Medan to Penang and got another one and so stayed almost 6 months in Indonesia.
And another thing when you get a 60 day visa in Singapore or Penang the no. on your visa is 211 (not 411 like in Australia) and that can be now extended by 30 days plus fee at certain consulates in Indonesia.
