It would have worked for us if we were travelling with another family so the kids had someone to play with and the temperature had been turned up in the pools. (which may have been done now).
All depends on the type of holiday you want and who you are travelling with.

For the same price bracket we couldn't fault the new Novotel Apartments in Nusa Dua. That is a lovely apartment style resort, with large warm pools, beach club nearbye and a shirt stroll to numerous great restaurants. We are going back there next June.
