Also Bali Tourism has lost one of its most staunch supporters in the closure of San Michele. I feel desperately sad for Ian Norris and his team at San Michele as it had been a big struggle for them to overcome the losses incurred following the two Bali bombs.
In reading the article in E-Travel Blackboard it seems that the final straw was a Claim against San Michelle by the administrators of Ansett Australia, the demise of which occurred long before Ian Norris, the present owner, had anything to do with San Michelle.
Ian, who was previously General Manager of Garuda Orient Holidays is an absolute gentleman in every respect - a wonderful Bali supporter - who must be absolutely devastated by what has happened.
