definitely much cheaper in Bali. I got my contact lenses (monthly and daily) and 2 pairs of glasses made up at Optik Melawai in Centro. The glasses were 1 pair normal clear lenses, 1 pair of sunnies - total cost for both from memory 1.2 million rp. The monthly lenses way cheaper than here, dailies still quite an expensive option but once again cheaper than here. It is worth getting dailies to wear in Bali though as they are more comfortable with the high humidity and dust etc. One point, a friend asked about toric lenses a while ago and they weren't available at all in Bali, same for the lenses that you can leave in when you sleep etc. Check the different shops in Centro as they often have specials like buy 2 packs get 1 free or similar.
