I am going to Bali for the first time in October this year and have been asking all the first timer questions. I asked my doctor about whether or not I should be vaccinated, she said she really was not sure and directed me to a all you should know medical travel website - they list so many things that I became confused. Then I asked travel agent and she unofficially whispered that she never has but that it might be wise to get diptheria, typhoid and tetanus. More confused than ever I decided to just ask friends - all that have beeen to Bali 10 people in all have never had any vaccinations. I am not having any either based on their experiences and recommendations. Hope this helps
