If you walk (or ride)out to the road side of Peneeda View, you will be on Jalan Tamblingan. You will see the Coriander Restaurant directly across the road. This is a very good restaurant. By turning right (north) you will come across many other good restaurants, La Barraca(Italian) is great, Star Cafe is good, Lumut has good food but warm beer, Cosy Corner has great food and cold beer, Batu Jimbaru is also popular. This is all within a couple of hundred metres of Peneeda View. Hardys Supermarket is also not very far away.
If you exit Peneeda View and head south you will be about 15 metres from the very good Indian Restaurant(Clay Oven) which operates in conjunction with Sea Horse Restaurant. For some reason may tourists seem to think that Sanur finishes here. Keep walking (riding)and you will come across a variety of great places to eat. Casa Luna, Apa Kabar, Jepun, Ming and Massimos are all within a short distance of each other. The last three restaurants are very good. Massimos would have to be one of the best restaurants in Bali.
Head a tad further south and you will come to Double Dutch, this has live music most evenings. Further south is Magos, Trophy plus The Cat & Fiddle. Further south still you will get to Mama Putus and Tudes.
A little bit further south will bring you to Mercure and then a bloody big tree directly in the middle of the road, turn left down towards the beach. On you right will be vacant land and on your left you will see an open gate, through this open gate are a few bushes and a pool. Call in here and "demand" a cold beer.
