I stayed there with my daughter for four nights in late Aug. Although the laneway was too narrow for a car there was the odd scooter that came thru and it's also lit up. When we arrived there our bags were taken to the villa and also when we left they were taken out to the road. I did'nt feel uncomfortable walking there at nights, although I only walked the laneway off Rum Jungle road. Overall everything was just as you see on the internet site and there was nothing I could fault. Re the deposit and bond - not a problem. If you did have a problem with this and anything else then Merrick would fix it. I cannot see where you will regret your stay. and would certainly recommend to others.
