The debate between the Barong and its sister hotel the Dewi Sri is great in my family.
I much prefer the Barong. It has two pools when I last stayed there the younger guys stuck around the back pool and the middle aged were at the front pool.
The rooms are ok and have the two essentials a TV and a fridge. We didn't spent much time in the room so it wasn't a concern.
The position of the hotel is great. Being in Poppies two you are close to everything.
The Dewi Sri is another hotel of simular quality but is at the end of a lane way and I felt harassed ever time I left or returned to the place.
the Barong is a good cheap hotel better than some but good place to sleep and hang out at the pool
