Sorry I cant help recommend a dressmaker in bali, you can go to a regular tailor or there are a few designers around.

Make sure you bargain on the price, Im getting married in Jakarta next March and because foreign have been given outrageous quotes when getting quotes for a dress to be made.

Most will probably quote you over 10 million rupiah. You can get second hand dresses or made for around 5million if you do your research.

My final price (which im going for measurements this coming weekend) is about 850dollars Aussie (7million) This is a bargain compared to other prices I have been quoted. Of course the price depends on your body size (for material) the type of material you want and if you want any extra beading etc etc... its all hand made and some of them do excellent jobs.

If you want a very simple plain dress, they could probably do it in a week or twos time... however most like at least 6 months warning if you want a designer style. It also depends on what month you are getting married, is it a busy or slow month :)

Also if you have an example of what you would like, take it and show them, most are able to copy :) Thats what Im doing :)

Some bridal places, also have package deals, which might include hair and make up for the day. You have to state you just want the dress, and you want it for keeps (hak milik) otherwise they'll make the dress for you, let u wear it and then they'll want it back for the "second hand stock". This goes for the guys suits as well.

Any questions email me
