Well we bought an apartment a few years ago at Beach Melati Apartments because we liked having the extra space. I would think for US$110 you could get something a lot nicer than MBR. Have a look at Yuli Beach Bungalows that are in the gang opposite MBR. they are a bit further to the beach and the pool is small but the bungalows are lovely. Also interconnecting rooms in the 300 building at Jayakarta are ok. They are close to pools, restaurant and beach. That would give you 2 bathrooms, 2 balconies etc. Also Kusnadi Hotel in Rum Jungle Road is a nice budget place but again further to the beach. Check out the websites. Most places will book direct. Have a fun trip anyway. We'll be over there in June/July as well
