I agree. I am staying there again in Nov. The beach is great. It is where the better beach breaks are. Hire a lounge chair for the day - swim, surf and get a fresh fruit plate from the fruit lady and a beer from Bruno. Then head to Ketumbar for a meal at the end of the day - they also serve Australian wine there.
What more does one need?
But, LBH is expensive so you might want to try Puri Raja which is just north, and is smaller but still a great stay.
