Just returned from two weeks in Sanur. Just some observations since our last visit twelve months ago. Prices have increased for both food and Drinks. My wife loves the Long Island Tea but with prices now at 50,000 compared to 35,000 last year that is getting pricey. A gin and tonic at 50,000 or AUD$6.60 is not cheap when you can buy it for $5.20 at a hotel in Oz. These prices were at average restuarants and we beleive reflect the crack down on bootleg spirits forcing the payment of excise. We were paying between AUD$20-25 for a meal for two with a couple of Bintangs and a soft drinks . This is still cheap you might say but two years ago I would have paid $15. Market prices have not changed and most importantly neither have the beautiful Balinese People and their Island Paradise.
