There are plenty around the MBR - turn right out of the main gate and walk up to Jalan Padma - Indo National for one - turn left and walk down to La Monde, The Coffee Shop, Rickys Bar or keep walking to Rum Jungle Road there I would recommend The Foo-kin Inn, The Flying Piano, Yertz, there is a Spanish one also but can't remember the name. Walk out the beach entrance and turn right walk right down past the Jayakarta Hotel and these are all good, especially Seaside, Lanai and Zanzbar. I can recommend our driver Made Sukarta we have been using him for 8 years, he has a clean aircon van, seats 6-8, he has good English and is happy to take you anywhere. we get him to meet us at the airport on arrival as it's much cheaper than paying for transfers through the travel agent. I contact him about one month before with flight details and then again the day before. If I want to go out in Bali I just send him an SMS and organise that way. Have a great holiday, I have just arrived home and can't wait to go again. Can't help with laundry sorry as we stay at the Jayakarta and I get lazy and use the hotel one.
