I was going to say that I wouldn't stay in the standard rooms and then remembered that I have, but just for a night. I had to laugh because as a double bed was not available I had to sleep in a single and turned over during the night and nearly fell out of bed. These rooms do not have a TV but the bathrooms of most of them have been renovated and are great, the vanity is now similar to the ones in the deluxe rooms. If I had a double bed and TV I would consider staying in one of them again. Last trip most of the rooms were taken and by repeat guests. I can't really comment on the other hotels as I haven't stayed there but have seen some of the rooms and they did not suit me but I am fussy. The other hotel which is smaller, has some bungalows, single storey and some do have a grassed area in front of them is the Respati Hotel, same area. You will have to email them direct.
