Welcome to the world of DIY holidays :-) School holidays are always top dollar... sad but true.
According to asia rooms MBR cottage suite rooms are for 3 persons only, so you will have to keep this in mind when you book for a family of 5. Some rooms simply cannot accommodate 2 adults and 3 children.
Hopefully, other forumites can guide you to a hotel that will accommodate your family.
