We, (wife and young adult children) have stayed twice at the Barong this year, Feb/March and just returned yesterday. The Hotel is a budget rated hotel. We have always stayed in rooms near the rear pool, (there are two pools both with swim up bars, the rear one is open 24 hours per day).
The staff are really friendly and helpfull.
Good location for shopping and nightlife.
We have always booked direct with the hotel via internet. Never been a problem. Price depends upon the time of year you would stay there, (peak or off peak).They will pick you up from the airport at no cost if you provide them with flight details.
Have meet some wonderful people there from various socioeconomic backgrounds and ages.
