We spoke to the manager, after having no luck with reception after, after several days of back pain, We stayed at GVC before and because of good service last time and a good bed, decided to stay again, because we have bad backs and dont mind a hard bed, but unfortunatly this was like a brick. hubby wrote JBR so can tend to be a bit black and white LOL. Perhaps after no sleep for two weeks can make your tolorance a little thin. As far as the lounge hogs go, was a shame we are not people who sit out in it all day, and not in the heat off the day usually went up at about 3ish for an hr or 2 max so didnt think we were being unresnoble,If there had been a few unbrellas even on grass area would have just sat there, loungers or not.We are very easy going usually, but we paid for a holiday as well.
Our holiday apart from that was gr8 and look forward to our next one.
Also just a little plug for Sanur, they are going it hard over there, it may have picked up in Legian and Kuta, but with all the europeans who arrange there sightseeing before they arrive, the local transport get few fares, also markets as they dont seem to buy there either.
