I always bring them back with me. So far had no problems with customs. I buy them as soon as I arrive in Bali and spray them every day with insect spray. I give them a good shake before spraying
So far no problems. Because they are so cheap I figure that I have nothing to lose should customs take them.
I normally only bring one or two at a time and carry as hand luggage
