I didn't find Jimbaran expensive at all. Depends where you go. If you head further south the the smaller establishments like Lia's and Cafe Bagus, it's more than reasonable. Matahari's was just a larger flashier place and just looked like it would hike up a few of the prices. We consistently had good food at the southern end restaurants. MMmmmmmmmm
