for me personally is to try not to give. I am always an emotional wreck when I see babies, disabilities etc. The heart strings are always pulled even though I know its a set up most times.
But my driver educated me last trip. At some traffic lights there was the usual Lady with baby in arms, My driver mumbled "lazy woman, go and pick rice" I now see the light, and was very respectful of his belief regarding begging, work ethic etc A long discussion commenced.
