As for the early morning markets, there are some others just east of bemo corner...if anyone is closer to that area.
And a few health tips.......
If you get sick you must call for the hotel doctor or you could spoil your holiday. They are fine. If you have the money or a credit card then go to BIMC (Bali International Medical centre) or SOS any taxi will know them, but a hotel doctor is fine and much cheaper..
I take an inner health tablet every day, you can buy from chemist here or health food shop and take in the insulated paper back from the chemist and then keep in fridge when you get to hotel in Bali.
Also 100% pure raspberry juice is good and 10 mls straight each morning on en empty stomach is what you need. Take a medicine cup. From health food shop for around $7.95
You can buy a can of drink there with a Rhino on the front. It comes in about 4 different flavors and you should aim to drink at least a couple a day.
Drink as much bottled water as you can so you don't dehydrate, especially if you are drinking Bintang.
