After one of my many bouts of BB, I was given Flagyl, (which is called that cos it only affects the bugs that 'flagellate', with tails that turn, todays's useless bit of information). It was VERY effective, but as a side affect I ended up with the worst possible case of thrush, which i'd never had before. Just keep an eye out.
