We love la Scala - say hi from Heather and Dusan.
There are heaps of restuarants right outside the Novotel. Kecak Bali is just down from la Scala and is excellent. We went to Tao - great view but not impressed with anything else really.
In general the area is great - there is a good money changer just down the road (next to an empty block next to the Temple), a small internet cafe and me and MOTH had the best hot rock massage at Anggi Nature Spa (in front of Club Bali Mirage)
Anything else feel free to ask as we go there all the time.
