I stayed at the Kartika in an ocean facing room but did get to see the Ocean front rooms which were really nice. Slightly bigger than the Ocean facing rooms and they had a really nice day bed on the balcony that you could lounge on. We are looking at staying in an Ocean Front room next trip as hubby promised! We both loved the Kartika, mainly because it was central to where we wanted to shop and eat etc without having to catch a cab or walk for hours. I have always wanted to stay at the Padma and have heard nothing but good about the hotel, including the club room features. I think we will have to try this hotel after this next planned trip! Its a hard decision - good luck!
