Had no problems as I have been numerous times it was just another holiday. Didn't do anything different except maybe had a few extra naps during the day.
Make sure that your wife drinks plenty of bottled water to keep hydrated as it is hotter in Sept-Oct than in June. Other than that just go and enjoy yourselves. Have a great trip.
