Hi we stayed in the Padma in April in the club chalet which included the club benefits, we thought it was well worth the extra, quite spacious rooms with a beautiful bathroom (and the biggest shower we've seen) can't remember the no. of the room but it was close to the reception area and not far from the pool, can find out for you.
The club benefits included cool drinks and tea and coffee all day in the club room, they have afternoon tea with cakes, pastries, cheese and biscuits etc. from 3.00 - 5.00 and then cocktails, beer and I think wine and nibblies from 5.00 - 7.00, infact half the time didn't feel like dinner!! Am sure you will love it :o)
