seeing as I havent for aaaaages, not that anyone has been missing me!!!

Ive found a new hang out and Im lovin it, Ive been raving on about it all night now....Bali Rock Cafe!!!!

Ive been told that the Grand Final and all the finals leading up to it, including the NRL are being shown there on a super big screen, plus two extra big screen tvs they have in convenient locations ie. close to a bar and close to an airconditioner!!!

Apparently they are having go go dancers and a band at half time, what a great atmosphere that will be dont you reckon!!! They also have a fab beer garden, at night it is gorgeous.

Theyve had some great parties including one I went to a few weeks ago, free drinks for 15mins every couple of hours, it was just sooo much fun and whilst they mainly play rock n roll, they had some great groovy tunes by their in house dj, who is also a brilliant magician, although he couldnt quite make my drunkedness disappear.

Anyway Ive decided Im moving in there, love the place so much, so come and say hi to the little drunk in the corner on any given day....nah not really, too many other things to be doing there, like playing pool!!! hahahah.

Sooo umm what else has been happening, hmm, ordered some stuff from Balistone a few weeks ago for a friend in Sydney, Felicia from Balistone, a fellow aussie, has realllllly got some great stuff there, and she's soooo knowledgable about everything, its great to pick her brain about Bali, she's so informative, and very, very witty. If youre in the market for stone stuff go see her and say hi from shauna, she also is a forumite and comes to quite a few BTF events in Bali, actually more than me, bit harder for me to get out at night, seeing as Im one of the poorer expats in town, so cant afford the babysitter at night, well not EVERY night anyway!!!

Spoke to Bloodyron a few weeks ago, but he was a bit subdued, maybe owing to the alcohol shortage in Bali, then again maybe not, who knows.

Can you imagine, an ALCOHOL shortage in Bali, thank God, Im not that desperate for a drink, but if I was, it wouldve been very very sad days indeed, no wine and then no small bintangs, what is this place coming to.

I think now though, its back on the up and up.

Has everyone heard of the new airlines flying out of Perth three times a week, is it Indojet, good on em I say, certainly is difficult to get a flight tahts for sure, hope this will change things a little.

Saw Janet the other day, of Casa Luna fame, she is also the organiser and founder of the Ubud Writers Festival, she's a bag of nerves and energy at the moment cause things are getting really close to starting with the festival, it sounds fabulous but slightly out of my budget for alot of the workshops, you should do yourselves a favour and take a look online at what they are doing for the time its on, very interesting.

Friends of mine have opened a new hair and beauty salon, they are an aussie mother and daughter pair, the salon is great and right there, around the corner from Padma Street on Legian St and called Manik Salon.

Sorry thats about all from me, hope to hear from you all!!!
