although we had issues with how grubby the bathroom was, we loved it's position. We walked down to the Hyatt and were so glad we didn't stay there, it is so massive!
In June this year, within weeks of each other, two of my sisters and then my mother stayed there, and they all said they wouldn't stay there again as it is so far from things? and it is just to big.
Another sister stayed at the "Griya Santrian" and she loved it, it's next door to the Besakih, we had lunch there once and drinks one night it looked really nice.
We were travelling with our children, but if we went back with out kids we would stay at the "Tandjung Sari", we had a look at a couple of their rooms, soooo nice do yourself a favour and check it out!!! The two story bungalows, Lush Lush Lush.
Good luck, it's so hard, but so much fun, trying to figure out where to stay isn't it!!
