I have tried a few variations and although none are the same as Bali (never will be!!), this one I have found comes close...

2 garlic cloves (crushed)
1 inch grated ginger
1 spring onion, finely chopped
1 tspn sesame oil
1 tblspn sambal oelek
1 tblspn fish oil
1 tspn shrimp paste
3 tblspns ketjap manis
11/2 cups bean sprouts, asian greens, carrots etc (chopped and mixed)
oil to use in the wok
4 cups of cooked rice (i use basmatic)
cooked chicken (diced)
cooked small shrimp
fried eggs to serve on top

Heat oil and add garlic, ginger and spring onions and sauted.
Add ingredients 4-8 of above (liquid ingredients) and stir through
Add veggie mix and toss through
Add the cooked rice and keep stirring until well coated but not sticky.
Add the chicken and prawns and fold into rice mixture.
Taste and if necessary and/or you want more spice, add some more of 4-8.
In separate pan fry egg.
Serve and top with fried egg.
