Dissapointment at Resor

Have just returned from Bali very dissapointed with the Resor Seminyak.

We chose to stay there becuase one of the four of us requires a walk in Shower and we know they have this in their deluxe rooms and superior rooms.

We booked in March and sent e-mails to the customer service person as requested by Resor several months before we arrived.
We double checked that the deluxe room required was available through the hotel and our travel agent and yes everything was okay.

As we had stayed at this hotel twice before and both previous times had had problems we were sure to cross our T's and dot our I's, but guess what? We arrived from Sydney to find they had no room for us.

They offered a standard room with step down bath which was quite unacceptable. After much discussions we were asked to take a seat away from the desk and we would be dealt with.

We could not get them to understand that the standard room was not acceptable until we actually went to the room and showed them what we meant.

Next thing we know they had found a superior room for us for 3 days and then would move us to a deluxe room after that.
Imagine our surprise when we got to the room to find a letter of welcome for someone completly different.

This person would be sent to a standard room as he was not due until later that night.
The customer service person who we had dealt with the previous year ignored us completely.
We discovered at a later date that the hotel does not allocate rooms until the day before so if anyone is thinking of staying there with special requests think again.
I might add we were not the only ones having problems as there was a young couple having their wedding there and were having all sorts of problems.
We will not be going back to the Resor Seminyak as three times,three lots of dissapointment it's time to move on.
