You may only take 1 litre per person into Bali. Best to purchase duty free after going through customs.
On the way back some people that have bought duty free in Bali have had it taken off them.
Much safer to purchase duty free on your return. You can pre order making it much easier. Need to check but think you can get 2.5 litres per person, just ask at the airport.
