This year we went to Lombok, hired a car and caught the ferry over. We are a family of surfers and love travelling further than Bali. We are going again in Novemeber and we are planning to go to Lombok, Sumbawa and Sumba by car and ferry.
So my questions are do the ferries leaving Sumbawa to Sumba take cars? The place you went to Tarimbang is a surf spot that we are interested in going too, Lonely planet mentions that there are 2 places to stay, Is that correct or is there just your friends place. I have also read that there are 2 other surfing locations on Sumba, have you any info about these?
