dont mind giving him a plug such a gentle soul looked after my wife and i above and beyond the call of duty .(sorry about the pun)so of to kuta we go first shopping trip ,decided to stop off at discovery mall to get some cash from the atm and have a bite to eat,didnt know what to expect so the wow factor kicked in straight away,so anyway withdrew 1.5 mill cash ,now that gives me shivers just to type,(wow factor still with me)off we trot, well waddle actually big meal he he,
so after a long look around at everything decide its time to try for some bargains at the market near discovery,now work with me on this,my wife,seems like oodles of cash,lots and lots of stalls,(by the way we are both on the wrong side of fifty,)and all day to shop she said there is a god.....by the end of three hours im sitting with a group of drivers playing chess,and getting preatty adept at improvising language,while the last time i saw my wife was i think chatting and laughing with a group of ladies,was i worried, no i felt compleatly at home and safe,so eventually my wife turns up and had bought everything known to mankind,and get this still had money left,
by this time the only thing that we wanted to do was pay our respects at ground zero,sad doesnt even come close to what we felt,and that included our driver,ok homeward bound can almost taste the first bingtang..funny realy befor we went to bali had never heard of bintang,but as i told my wife when in rome he he he still amazed at the way all the traffic just meshes to-gether and whole family can ride those little scooters,so tommorow we are of to lombongan island cant wait will be great,had tea at donalds on the beach,on the beach if you dont mind,aahh love this place,i know i dribble on but well you know first time and all..will post again soon..
