I checked my passport (not e-passport) and every page is a Visa page and no endorsement pages. The Visa is printed in the faintest blue print and hard to spot even with my goggles on. I wondering if the original poster has a different passport other than an Australian one... just a thought.
I have never condoned bribery but then I have never been forced into a position to have to do it. However, if having arrived at my destination and faced with having to pay or be refused entry and go straight back home... I think I would have to step down from my stance and 'cough up' and put it down to experience. I wouldn't be happy though.
