Just a word of warning, please be careful with Tiger Air and ROXY Surf shop/Centro Mall in Bali.
I live near Sydney and have NEVER flown with Tiger air. I have only ever used my westpac visa once in Bali at the "ROXY" Surf shop in Centro, near Krispy Kreme's (January 07) I NEVER let it go out of my sight and watched the transaction closely as I always do when I use it anywhere in the world. Nearly 6 months after this transaction I was hit with 6 large transactions from Tiger air which all went through on my visa and was approved/accepted. The only reason it was detected was because someone got greedy and tried to hit it again but at a silly time 3.41am and 3.46am these 2 transactions were declined and the fraud department was brought in. I had to do a lot of paperwork etc. This whole process has taken 1 month, this came at a stressful time in my life, and definitely something I could of done without. I finally got a phone call yesterday from WESTPAC saying Tiger air was approached by their fraud department and asked to prove who purchased the tickets and who used them, without investigation they instantly refunded me 1/2 instantly, but they did say they will refund 1/2 and westpac can refund the other 1/2, once tiger air refunded this westpac then instantly commenced further proceedings to rescue the rest. I was told by Westpac Tiger Air is known big time for fraud transactions. They have a bad record for this sort of thing.
I know this sort of thing happens all the time all over the world, but I just wanted to share with you my experience. Please be careful.
