if they ask you to leave immediately, insist on them paying out your 4 weeks notice period immediately as well. Stage a sit in until they do! My last day is tomorrow (being compulsorily retrenched after 18 years), but the thought of only 8 sleeps to go, has begun the healing process already. BTW a friend has set me a challenge .... survive on A$5 per day in Bali for a few days (excluding the bed and breakfast costs), and I'm sure I can eat delicious meals for around $1 if I eat local, so that'll be included in my JBR's as well! Of course, once I have achieved the challenge I will then spend up and help the balinese economy.
