Yay I am going to Bali!!

I'm going to Bali from the 18th of Dec until the 11th of january with my best friend. I have a couple of questions that I would like to ask. I'm thinking of staying at Matahari Bungalows. I asked them about price and they replied with this:

Standard room : USD 22/nt/2 pax

Is this price per person?
What is Bali like on Christmas day and New Years Eve? Is there any celebrations?
Another thing, My best friend and I are both 22 year old girls. Is there anything we need to be watch out for in regards to safety?
