in Bali (2005) I bought my son the latest game, took over his game boy to test it on, played it a while, and it all looked great.
Until he tried it at home and it played great, but it would not save at any level, which meant every time he played he had to start at the beginning not much fun! also it was still about $40.00 Aussie dollars so it was a lot of money wasted. I also got him the game card with lots of games on it and this was fine.
Just be careful and check them well.
