Febris hotel - fax credit card?

Hi

I have enquired with Febris hotel about making a booking for next month they have asked i fax my credit card details to them along with a photocopy of both sides of my credit card..has anyone else done this? i was just going to book on wotif.com but dont want to wait until i can for the end of next month and miss out on a room
