if it's 20 kg it might just be better to bring it back with you and pay the excess - you can generally get them to reduce the excess charge if you are polite - ask to speak to someone about a 'discount'

Otherwise here is an example - TNT Bali to Sydney -
$78 + $11.80 for each kilo - so about $314. That price is from my pricelist which is about 2 years old, so might be a bit more than that.

For smaller quantities I would go with the Express mail service - but that is also going to add up if you have 20KG.

Also keep in mind import duty and GST if you are shipping back. If the goods are worth more than $250 you will be up for duty & GST (if by someone like TNT) The limit is $1000 if bringing in by mail.

If you bring back with you I believe they form part of your duty free allowance ($900?)
