just returned today from overseas hol left sydney via brisbane beware some duty free was taken off a very irrate passenger who opened it when we landed in brisbane had to go through a transit check point which included all liquids over 100mls and included any duty free purchased which had been opened and not in sealed duty free bags were taken off passengers.
hope this helps it is all very confusing different ports and countries seem to have all different rules.
same happened in bangkok on purchases brought from australia.
