Again it all comes down to who is an idiot and who is not. Sensible parental supervision will ensure responsible fun.
People without boundaries including parents with their kids spoil everyones fun, in planes, in hotels, in shops, in restaurants and in the street .
Limits have been implemented in many societies to protect the average punter from the idiots who can't control themselves. Unfortunately that prevents sensible people from enjoying themselves with otherwise harmless pastimes- the 'lowest common denominator' factor.
When I didn't have a toy gun as a kid I made one out of a chunk of wood. I haven't turned into a homicidal maniac....YET! :)
