Hi Guys ,
Yesterday I read a post on BTF from Carly, it took a while to think how to answer it without it sounding like some sort of knee jerk reaction.
Bali Kids is still deeply involved with ALL the orphanages in Bali still in the same old way but even more so with the provision of much needed medical care to all the orphanages. Bali Kids provides not only a place for kids to receive medical attention but also an extremely effective Mobile Mecical Care facility.
I'm not sure what the rules are on posting responses of this kind so I thought "when in doubt ask the Boss" so I checked with Ken prior to posting and I also asked Ms Yayuk Kanti the Director/General Manager of Bali Kids for a very short note setting out what they do.
Whilst I realise that Carry for Kids site doesn't cover this as well as it uesd to, trust me Yayuk and her gang of very capable people are still there.
Regards,
Roy
Yayuk's note:-
"Dear Friends,
All of us at Bali Kids would like to convey our sincere thanks for
supporting and helping both Bali Kids Care Centre and Orphanage.
We do our best and hope that with Bali Kids Care Centre we could help more the kids in the orphanages in Bali, not only supplying guests with the needy information about the orphanages or distributing donations to them, but also with the very needed medical care. Bali Kids Care Centre is the only Care Centre that helps the kids in the orphanages in Bali with medical care.
More than 5,000 sick kids in the orphanages in Bali have been treated through Bali Kids Mobile Medical Service, Day and Intensive Care both at Bali Kids Care Centre and Hospital since the opening of Bali Kids in April 2005, while Bali Kids bears all the expenses for all the treatments.
I hope this short thank you note will also serve as a very good news note for all people who care and love our kids in the orphanages in Bali.
With thanks and all the best wishes,
Yayuk and Bali Kids Family"
