Wow one month! Lucky you, have a wonderful time.
So you are staying in villa A3? As this is the villa we stayed in.
Directions for laundry: When you exit the driveway entrance to the villa complex turn right and follow the street to the end (is a short distance) then turn right, and turn to the first street on your left and go a little further up the street (sounds far, but it really is not far). If it is Villa A3 that you are staying in and you happen to be there when Agus the caretaker is there to clean your villa, he can arrange for laundry service for you. My husband was at the villa while it was being cleaned and was offered laundry service, but I was not there at the time so we went and found this laundrette.
There is a gym close by. Although it may be best for you to get directions from Agus or one of the locals at the complex for the gym as there are a lot of little streets and gangways, but once you get your bearings it's quite easy to get around, we went past the gym a couple of times on the motorbike.
Outside the entrance to the driveway there is a little convenience store which is handy and the kids visited when ever they wanted an icecream. Or if you turn right as you exit the driveway entrance very close by also there is another convenience store which is a little larger. Prices at both places are very cheap. Across the road from this second convenience store is a little stall which sells beaded thongs and are very cheap, if wanting to buy beaded thongs.
Located on the driveway entrance is a little bar for drinks which is opened at night time and seemed to be a hang out for the locals as there was indonesian karaoke there which we witnessed one night while walking back from dinner, they were all having a great time and there was no noise heard from our villa. We didn't have a drink here as we preffered to enjoy in the comfort of our villa with our duty free when we returned from dinner each night.
Cheers Cindy
