I do not disagree with any of the answers posted. Don't know what country you come from but for last trip I budgeted $AUS 100 a day (excluding accommodation)for myself plus wife. Worked well. We ate out every day plus several trips with driver. So that should give you a base to work from. NB not much buying - about 30 DVDs + a couple of sarongs, bags etc.
Recall meals for R30,000 and up to 100,000 a head so all is relative. If you are in Upmarket hotel budget more. If like us we preferred local venues a lot less.
