Of course every one checks their plane tickets, and when I picked ours up I checked the names, dates, and times, I thought it was all fine. Then the other day I thought I better check again, all OK until a price difference in tax caught my eye, when I looked at the pricing I realized my son was given a child's ticket!
He was 11yrs when we booked, but 12yrs when we fly.
I emailed the agent and told her my sons ticket was wrong, she said don't worry about what the ticket says, you were charged for an adult, his age was on the booking, has an adults ticket, it's just like that as he was 11yrs when you booked.
I emailed back saying yes we did pay for an adult, but he has a child's ticket. She replied leave it with her.
Well she got back to me today and it is a big stuff up, yes he has the wrong ticket, she is so sorry, she checked them and can't understand how she missed it.
So now I have to send the ticket back ( I booked it over the net.) before he can be issued a new ticket, thank god I noticed and stood my ground, and lucky we have time to fix it.
So check your ticket well and don't take the agents word for it.
