Hotel around Puri Raja

We are staying at the Puri Raja for New Year and we now have another couple that want to come along only problem is Puri Raja is booked out, can anyone recommend a hotel around Puri Raja that is good, we have previously stayed at the Jayakarta and wasn't too keen on it, Maybe too big not sure, but any other ideas?
