I have read several of your messages and had a few calls re Melka .I am Tony Greenwood .My wife and i own Peel zoo in Pinjarra West Aust .www.peelzoo.com .We have just come back from 1 mth at Bali Zoo ,we have helped secure it for now from the local bank fore closing upon it .We now have the task to make Bali Zoo a more natural habitat for the animals .We have already tripled the size of the lions ,tigers ,and leopards cages ,For now treed and planted out all enclosures and ensured better hygiene for all feed out systems.I am flat out running peel Zoo ,but now find it a priority to get Bali zoo back up on its feet and share some much needed knowledge .The owner Mr Putra Agung is a very kind and genuine man .His 74 strong staff are a joy to work with and the restaurant is now 5 star .No they don't eat cat ,dog or monkey ,as i over heard one taxi driver telling his passengers .I attached a sign to tell customers this is not the case ,It get a laugh ,deep down inside ,many wonder .Dont ,the zoo and its staff have a huge future ,so do the animals .We return next week to start rebuilding .We are not wealthy people but we have more than enough to share .If anyone else wants to come on board please contact us .info@peelzoo.com .sponsorship is always welcomed .I will see this zoo is a proud master piece and the animals come first .Education is the next step and build a zoological school here .They need one .Thanks to all you people who have written to me and now put me on to your site .We are just one family helping another family .
