Hi just returned yesterday. still getting over the trip home. got a cheap deal from brisbane to kuala lumpur denpasar. I dont think I will do that again, midnight out, no sleep 3 hr stop over kl, got to bali 2.30 next day and absolutely shagged. fllight home, booked all through flight centre, they failed to tell us flight from kl to sydney and stopover for 1 1/2 hrs then back to brissy, got home midnight, then 2 hrs back to gold coast from brissy on a dodgy bus trip. My god never again, will fly out of either darwin or sydney next, two days flying waste of time, could of spend that time in bali.
anyway, had as great time, stayed at su's prince cottages, rumjungle rd legian, wow what an awesome quiet little hacienda , moved to bungalow with lounge, kitchen, 2 levels, huge downstairs indoor outdoor bathroom ensuite, and another bathroom downstairs, really nice, basic but good, awesome pool and staff so friendly, huge fridge and gas cooker. Just loved it, so close to restaurants and shops and beach, not far from Jayakarta. didnt really do alot, this time around more of a relaxing holiday, just spend time on the beach talking to the locals. took a bike ride to sanur to get my wine stash, but its drying up there unfortunatley, but got some all the same. ate indo national, great, lemon grass, mykonas, wyan and friends, poses pub. booked again for october, cant keep me away, taking friends who havent been before, so will look forward to doing the touristy things again, I had booked a bike ride with bikebatik but i got really sick the last week, many balinese down with the flu and throat infections this time of year, and yes i picked it up too. put me in bed only one day, i didnt let it stop me too much. went to bagus pub poppies 2 for state of origin, it was packed full of aussies, such a good night. went to the tranny show at Hulu club, so good. Legends had a welcome back to bali night which was awesome as well. can't wait to go back, think I will have the flu shot before i go this time. fell in love with a lifeguard, dont we all !!!. yes she is beautiful, she is catik, she is bali.
