You can order babi guling anytime, Desak needs at least 24 hours notice and would prefer a deposit (fair enough too).
The babi guling feast feeds 8 and costs 800,000rp.
When you order its up to you to pay the full amount and invite as many others as you'd like to join you.
We ordered just for the four of us and found great pleasure in sharing it around with some of our favourite staff, sellers and hotel.
